Zoe Bible Studies

Enjoy Jesus together through His Word! Zoe Bible Studies allows members of our church to engage in studying a book of the Bible with one or two other members of church. In single-gender groups, you’ll read through these books and meet together to share insights, pray for one another, and seek to apply God’s word!

Sample Bible Study Guides

The Bible study guides found below can help you structure your reading with the other members of your group. You can also use them as a guideline for working through other books of the Bible. As more guides are created, we’ll post them below!

We suggest 3 approaches by which you and another believer can go through a book of the bible together. The diversity is for your diverse personal interests and circumstances in life.

1. The explorative approach is for those who do not have much time during their week to prepare for a bible study. This approach allows you the flexibility to just show up and begin afresh to explore the bible text without any preparation beforehand. The target audience for this approach can be newer believers who are a bit intimidated by bible studies, or busy people, or those who need low-barrier entry. The goal for this approach is not to master or even to study the text, but simply to be familiar with and explore the book together with someone else. You may follow the prompts provided by the explorative templates below.

2. The normative approach is for those who are able to invest a bit more time to study the bible. The participants would do some reading and studying beforehand with help from a commentary as they go through a biblical book together. The goal of this approach is to gain a deeper understanding of the book. You may follow the prompts provided by the normative templates below.

3. The immersive approach is for those who  are able to afford a generous amount of time to digest a biblical book. The goal of this approach is to internalize the book through repetition, memorization, and meditation! The participants are encouraged to read through the book which they have chosen over and over again on their own, then meet up with other believers to meditate and memorize the book together. You may follow the prompts provided by the immersive templates below.
